Aladdin Green Moonstone B-92 Raised Rib alt. Mould Vertique Glass Lamp Font only

Up for sale is a green moonstone vertique produced in 1938. This specific lamp however is a very rare variant in that this was a different mould. Please review pictures closely and you will notice some ribs are raised.

There is a pattern to some of the spacing and then a few sections the pattern varies. There are only a handful of these that have been found. This lamp could be a prototype or could have been an early mold that was changed up after one batch. This style vertique has only been found in green, reinforcing the fact that the mould was used for a very short time or was prototype.

Font is in good shape, crack free and very tiny nips to the bottom rim of foot. There are some dark areas that could be captured impurities in the batch of glass. As with most all Aladdin glass lamps, you should expect to see production flaws like straw marks, captured impurities and bubbles, rough mold edges and other irregularities in the glass finish.
