Aladdin Oil Kerosene Lamp RED Venetian Art-Craft Vase #1247 Circa 1931-32

Aladdin Red Arts & Craft Style Vase Lamp #1247. I doubt you'll find a nicer one of these! This is the style that is 10-1/4 tall (glass only) has 3 feet ('31-'32), the ones with 6 feet were made'34-'35. About as pristine as you'll ever find - glass is perfect!

Tiniest flake on top inside of rim where font goes in, but was most likely just the tiniest bit of roughness during the manufacturing process as the top was ground to insure proper fitting of the font. It was converted to electric, but most of the original parts are there, it would take very little to convert it back to original specs. The pics showing the bottom "feet" shows a couple lighter spots, this is just where the paint wasn't applied as well. Aladdin made these with a fired on paint on the bottom and inside of the glass.

They may look like chips in the photos, but rest assured that they are not! Original lamp shade holder is still with it. As shown in the photos it comes apart, I suppose for easy storage if it wasn't in use. These originally came with a paper shade. This is in "as found" condition, so it will need a light polishing to the metal, there is some dust on it as well.
