Antique Aladdin Model No. 11 Kerosene Oil Lantern Lamp with Nickel Plated Base

11 Oil Kerosene Lantern Lamp. Aladdin Model "11" Oil Lamp. Produced between Sept 1922 and May 1928. I didn't know much about this lamp except that it was my grandmother's lamp, acquired when she was a young bride, and then it was my mother's lamp.

Lamp stands approx 24 high. Lamp is in pretty good condition for being nearly 100 years old. The metal base has some discoloration. Also, there is an approximate nickle-sized dent on upper base (see photos).

I have had a lot of questions about this antique lamp and, therefore, did more research on this item. You can see from the flyer included in the photos that the shape of the globe is the same as in this flyer but the Aladdin name is not on the glass, as it was when new.

I have learned that the printed logo on the glass can wear off over many years of cleaning. However, I cannot guarantee that the globe is original. Globe in good condition there is a dip in the top lip but is smooth. See photos for all imperfections. When this item was originally listed the wick trimmer was not included.

The good news is that I stumbled across it recently and it is now included. Though the mantle frame is included, there is no longer a mantle on the frame. However, replacement mantles are available online.

The Aladdin website says that, if the lamp is used, the mantle should be replaced at regular intervals based on usage. Though I have not included international sales as an option, I have had interest from international buyers.
