WONDERFUL ANTIQUE NICKEL PLATED RAYO OIL LAMP PATENT 1894, FEB 28 1905. ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH MILK GLASS SHADE AND CHIMNEY. This lamp is made by Rayo. The lamp is nickel plated and has not been polished which then shows its correct age patina. It has the clear glass chimney and period correct milk glass shade.

This lamp would be desirable to many different types of collectors from collectors of Machine Age, Art Deco, Antiques, Eames Era, Jet Age streamline or industrial items and would look Perfect in your house. ANY items shown in the background of photos are not included in the listing. DIMENSIONS: The lamp at the base is 6.5 inches wide, 12 inches from the base to top of fitter for chimney , and 19.5 inches high from base to top of chimney.

The milk glass shade is 9.75 inches diameter at the bottom and 4.25 at the top. DETAILS/CONDITION: This lamp is in good condition with the perfect patina, unpolished. There are no repairs or breaks seen.

There is one dent close to the fill cap, as seen in the photos and a couple very small dings. The Rayo fill cap screws properly. The wick is not used and does move up and down with the control knob. The shade is in good condition and has a nice ring to it. There are no large chips, just some flea bites on the top ring, but if they were not polished from new the cut edge was always slightly rough.

The only thing I did to this is wiped it off from dust accumulation, from sitting in my living room along with all of my other mid century modern eames era items.
