ANTIQUE/VINTAGE BRASS ALADDIN KEROSENE MANTLE LAMP-MODEL #12-NICE CONDITION

This is a very nice antique or vintage brass aladdin kerosene lamp base that is in good condition. It stands about 13" high and is about 7" in diameter. The burner is marker model 12 and the knob moves but i can't tell if there is a wick in it or not nor if the burner is supposed to twist off?? The filler cap opens and closes. The only dents are on one side of the base, which one of the photos shows.

It appears as if the lamp was dropped at one time and as i sit and look at it, it looks a little off kilter but nothing that i had ever noticed over the years that i have had it.
