1914 ALADDIN #6 Style #115 Hanging Lamp #215 Shade #6 Burner wick #5 Font Chimn

Beautiful Aladdin #6, Style #115. Hanging Oil Lamp #5 Font. Model #6 Burner w/Wick &. Approx: 30" Height Total x 13.5" Wide. Circa: 1914, Approx: 6 lbs. Awesome find from a selective Aladdin Lamp Collector's treasure trove. Great Aladdin Model #6, Style #115 Hanging Lamp with #215 White Shade. #6 Burner, Chimney and wick. In any case, it looks great. There is much more information available from the Aladdin Lamps info website on dates of production, models, etc. We are going with collector's description as he was an expert (in this case he had not marked the font, only, burner, shade and style). Based on the undated cap, this was produced in the US in 1914.

We only dusted off the lamp. There is no fuel in lamp. The #215 white shade is in exceptional condition and looks terrific. We could not see any cracks, chips or dings of note. It has a flat edge to top and bottom with and etched glass feel.

Not sure if this is original shade or later replacement, most websites indicate the flat lower edge is a later make. Please look over all pictures and zoom if needed and see further comments below. The burner and chimney are also very nice unless otherwise noted below.

We photographed all parts of lamp and from all sides we could. The burner is very nice, but has a few dents and few minor imperfections. The bottom of round part of burner bowl has been gently polished, the upper half still has some tarnish but looks nice as well. The brass riser stack has two small metal splits (as pictured) where riser meets the shade hold ring. There could be other tiny production blemishes or blips, but they would be minimal as we look over items thoroughly.

Please look over all pictures and use zoom if needed. We do our best to describe in detail what we see and are painstaking in our packing. In over 1000 delicate item sales we have had only two items sustain damage and both were out of US sales.
