This is a model 12 Aladdin Venetian art glass vase lamp. The vase itself is 12 inches tall, which is the rare size. With the metal font inserted, it stands about 16 1/4 inches tall. It is a really beautiful lamp.

There is wear secondary to age and use. I took several photos to demonstrate wear. The glass has areas where the paint is missing. You can see some of these areas when looking at the photo that peers inside the vase (photo # 4).

The glass rim where the metal font is inserted has several little chips around the perimeter (as shown in photos # 5 & 6). These chips are not uncommon with these type of lamps as the metal sits directly against the art glass. The lower base has wear into the paint in various areas around it. Photo # 7 shows a larger area where paint is missing & also shows a chip in the same area. The font has several discolorations & rust.

It is dusty, and has a faint kerosene smell. It also has a sizeable dent into it as shown in photo # 10.

The wick raiser moves, but the burner & wick are old & discolored. The gallery has some small dents. This is a beautiful, hard-to-find lamp which displays well. The most reasonably priced carrier depends on your location, and sometimes the economy carrier is more expensive.
