1932 Aladdin Venetian Art Glass Vase Lamp Model #12 Green Cat #1243-electrified
THE MODEL #12 VASE LAMPS WERE THE FIRST ALADDIN GLASS LAMPS. IT HAS 3 WIDE FEET ON THE BASE & A GOLD TRIM BAND PAINTED AROUND THE BOTTOM. THE FITTED CLEAR GLASS CHIMNEY IS APPROX. THIS CAN BE CONVERTED BACK TO OIL. THIS HAS THE ORIGINAL MODEL 12 OIL POT & APPEARS TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL BURNER/GALLERY ASSEMBLY IT WAS MODIFIED TO ELECTRIC BY SOLDERING THE LIGHT SOCKET TO THE WICK TUBE MOUNT (SEE PIC). IN GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION BRASS HAS NATURAL AGED/WORN PATINA THE ART GLASS VASE HAS NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS FOUND TWO VERY MINOR/SMALL NICKS 1 IN THE RIM OF THE GOLD BAND BASE & 1 INSIDE THE TOP RIM. THE AC PLUG HAS AN ON/OFF SWITCH ON THE CORD (So you can leave the socket in the On Position). Most item's do not have an original box if it is not in the photos or description we do not have it. NOTE: That ALL Ultra Violet Light Pics are Taken in a "Black Box" with Two 18 Long Ultraviolet Tube Lights (Results may vary depending on strength of ultra light being used).
