1937 to 1938 vintage Aladdin Beehive style lamp base B83 in deep, rich, ruby red glass is minus the brass wick assembly and fuel filler cap. Although in overall great shape for the vintage with no chips or cracks, there are combined areas of factory rough glass, and a few rim nicks along the base, several of which are shown in text-annotated photos. One of these annotated photos with a line of text sandwiched between two of these flaws, indicates more of a small rim edge chip than a nick. It's larger than a small nick. And, although the six tab feet show much drag wear, these tabs protected the base from any serious wear and tear over the years.
