This shade was owned by the Aladdin knight who had these shades made in 1999 for the green and 2000 for the red. Glass FX was the company that made these for him and this is the first red one produced, hence the numbering on this one which is marked along the fitter 001 RD 7/21/00 GLASS FX CHAMPAIGN, IL USA. These shades were modeled after the Aladdin model 206 lamp shade which was only made in green at that time. It will fit on the Aladdin student lamps, both original and 1983 reproduction, the Aladdin single and double chandelier as well as the model 4 narrow frame hanging lamp and a model 4 wall lamp.
