ALADDIN B-28 ROSE Pink SIMPLICITY Lamp with MODEL B BURNER- Kerosene Lamp

Up for consideration is a nice vintage Aladdin Kerosene lamp (B-28). It is a Rose Simplicity (Pink) lamp. The Model B burner (Chicago) is included. Please zoom/enlarge all photos which demonstrate condition/wear.

Photo # 6 shows excess cement in the filler hole. You can see some of the pink painted glass in the filler hole. The filler cap is the rounded variety. Photo # 7 shows a line in the paint or glass. It is not a crack, but probably a straw mark.

In photo # 5 at the 12 o'clock position, you can see a line in the mold that is not a crack. The lamp has occasional pieces of paint missing. Photos # 8 and 9 are examples of tiny pieces of paint missing. Photo #10 points to a tiny rough area or nick where the burner screws in to the top of the lamp.

The toothpick is pointed at it. Feeling around the perimeter of the base, the finger can feel a rough area with a small chip. The toothpick is pointing at it in picture #11. Feeling around the perimeter of the base, there are also some bumpy areas, which are part of the mold and not chips. Regarding the burner, there is some wear as expected with its age, but it is a shiny burner with limited use. The burner has limited tarnish/discolorations. The flame spreader looks dirtier than the gallery and burner.
