Aladdin Diamond Quilt White Moonstone Oil Lamp Model B-85 Circa 1937

ALADDIN DIAMOND QUILT WHITE MOONSTONE OIL LAMP MODEL B-85 CIRCA 1937. This rare and striking lamp is an original Aladdin Diamond Quilt in White Moonstone. Note the ring groove around the collar to show this is an original. The lamp and burner have been deep cleaned to assure that the burner and riser are in excellent working condition. All too often when burners have not been cleaned and old wicks are not removed the wick will glue itself to the center tube rendering the unit nonfunctional. There are no chips or cracks, abrasions, etc. And the font is in excellent condition. It does have the expected straw marks, seams, etc. As is typical in any Aladdin lamp. The burner is a brass Nu-Type Model B and is period to this lamp. This Diamond Quilt in White Moonstone is an Aladdin classic. It is visually stunning and will be a welcome addition to any decor.
