Aladdin Karosene Mantle Lamp Nu-Type Model B Chicago Hurricane Lamp

Aladdin Karosene Mantle Lamp - Nu-Type - Model B - Chicago, IL - Hurricane Lamp - 1930's thru 1950. In 1933 and continuing through the 1950s. It features a side-draft brass burner, uses a white cloth mantle rather than a flat wick to produce a bright white light.

The cloth mantle is in excellent condition as pictured, which is a rare condition in a lamp of this age. The chimney glass is not chipped or broken, what you see at the bottom of the chimney are notches that lock the glass in place. That shows the quality and carful design that went into the making of this lamp. This lamp is in pristine condition and museum quality. This lamp belongs in a museum or someone's log cabin home in the mountains.
