Aladdin Lamp Alacite Lincoln Drape new Model 23 Brass Burner and New Chimney

This is a Aladdin Alacite Lincoln Drape Table Lamp. The Tall Lincoln Drape Lamps are a favorite with collectors and the Alacite version was one of the most popular Kerosene lamps in Aladdin's history. These lamps used two different formulas. Those prior to WW2 contained uranium in the glass formulas, which was removed due to Government regulations. The old Alacite glass will glow yellow or green when exposed to a black light, while the new lamps show purple or blue. I have not tested this lamp to see what color it will glow - I will leave that to the new owner. I have modernized this lamp with a new 23 Burner and a new Chimney. The base has been cleaned and I find no chips or cracks in the glass. It is ready to be put into operation.
