Aladdin Lamp Corinthian B-104 BLACK FOOT Clear Font INNER LABEL 1935 -36

I have up for sale a very nice HTF vintage original circa 1935 - 1936 Aladdin Model B-104 CORINTHIAN Clear Font over Black Foot Kerosene / Oil Lamp with original burner. This is a Harder to Find model as this one has a Factory Paper Label applied during manufacture between the font and base - as shown in pic #3.

Evidently only a limited number of these were made in this fashion, not sure of the numbers but it makes this lamp a bit harder to find example. No Chimney, what you see is what you get.

The lamp is in Excellent Condition - I only notice one trivial fleabite nip as noted in the condition report and as shown in the last few pics. I held the glass font up to the sunlight and can only see black. A few of the "clear font over black foot" Corinthians have been found to contain labels that were inserted between the font and the foot. Evidently they were inserted at the time the two parts were glued together using the metal connector. Only a small percentage of these lamps do have such a label and I have not found them on the other colors of Corinthian lamps.

Another interesting note to this particular lamp is that while it is commonly referred to as "clear over black" the foot itself is not always black. It can be dark green, dark blue, or dark red as well. The glass however is so dark in all the colors as to appear black.

It takes a high intensity light to actually determine the true color of the foot. The variance in color does not effect the collector value of the lamp itself. This is what is written on the Aladdin Lamp website in regards to these LABEL Lamps. I have provided lots of information and nice pics. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics.
