It holds 1 1/2 quarts of kerosene, providing a full 18 hours of burning time without refilling. Each lamp bowl is hand-soldered and sub-merged water-tested for leakage with 75 pounds of air pressure.

This is a complete lamp with a Maxbrite 502 Burner, Mantle and Classic Wall Mount. Aladdin Lamps are almost magical! Fuel is delivered by high quality wicks, made from cotton that is selected and woven exclusively for us. Air is metered by the precision engineered burner, and supplied in exactly the right places to provide the highest efficiency.

A tiny blue flame heats the enclosed mantle, which is engineered to incandesce at high temperatures, to over 1000 degrees, delivering room filling "looks like electric" light.
