This was my Mother's mid 20th century. Example of Industrial Age workmanship. She was born in 1923, and she used to tell me how she remember her childhood before they had electricity.
This is one of the lamps she used and grew up with in French/Acadian Louisiana. This Aladdin has a 20s vintage "diamond square glass" pattern molded in the bowl. It is fitted with a brass MaxBrite 500 series burner and hardware. The Genie lamps also work with the wall brackets or hanging tilt frame.
Included is the Aladdan manual, and a LOX-ON mantle which is broken, but still usable and incadescent.
