Aladdin Model 2 Nickel Plated Kerosene Mantle Lamp c 1910

Model 2 Aladdin Nickel Plated Kerosene Mantle Lamp c. This lamp has correct No 2 thread for burner, No 3 and later burners will not thread correctly to this font.

Generator (flame spreader) is correct No 2. The gallery is No 3 international patent (which was a factory part they used as a upgrade to late production No 2 lamps to allow use of newer Kone Cap mantels).

These lamps were officially made for only 4 months in 1910 although the factory would use all existing parts so many early lamps are transitional combinations. The wick is original and works properly. This a complete working lamp only part missing is wick stop screw and cone cap mantel. Metal finish is very good with a few thin spots on under side of font and only one very small ding on font see picture (ding in blue circle).
