Aladdin Model B-133 SILVER Color ORIENTALE Kerosene Oil Lamp & Burner Nice
This is a great Aladdin Model B Orientale Kerosene Lamp. The lamp comes with the model B Burner shown in photos. The wick raiser moves and the Gallery on the burner is in nice condition.
The burner has limited discolorations to it. There is some expected wear to the lamp, though it is hard to find an Orientale lamp in better condition than this one. The lamp has some discolorations, especially near the base of the stem.
There is evidence of oxidation. The stem itself has a mottled appearance as shown in photo # 7. The mottled stem can be felt to the touch. There are some occasional light scratches and indentations into the lamp.The filler cap has a light indentation on it, which can be seen in photo # 5. In photo # 10, my fingernail is under a metal protruberance, which appears to just be how it was made.
Photo # 9 shows a dirty base with discolorations. There is a tiny toothpick sized hole under the base, near the five o'clock position in photo # 9. This appears to be how it was made. Photo # 11 shows a small indentation into the lamp.Photo #12 shows light streaks of discoloration (darkness). I have not attempted to clean the lamp. This lamp is in nice shape, especially for an Aladdin Orientale as many didn't survive well.
Even with the oxidation, I personally haven't seen one this nice before; but that is just my opinion. The shiny burner on it also catches the eye.
