Aladdin Oil Lamp Model B Hanging Lamp White Moonstone Circa 1936-37. This is an example of the earliest hanging glass fonts manufactured by Aladdin. For hanging lamps, these new glass fonts were a true revolution in hanging lamps in lieu of the more typical metal ones. The font is in great shape, there are no chips cracks or abrasions of any kind. Please note the following distinguishing characteristics. The crimps along the top brass at the rim are not continuous. Collar crimp is not continuous but a series of horizontal dashes around collar. The are no feet at the base. The 1936 - 1937 Aladdin model B font lamps can easily be distinguished from the later version by the lack of dimple feet on the bottom. This lamp can be used with a hanger or simply as a desk lamp; it will look fantastic in any décor. The burner is a model B nickel plated. It has been cleansed and works great.
