Antique victorian Brass Aladdin #8 kerosene oil lamp With Mantle And Shade. This is a recently acquired Aladdin #8 brass kerosene, oil lamp in the timeless Art Nouveau style.

I enjoyed listening to her stories. This Aladdin #8 was made for only two years 1919 and 1920 and will come with a NOS (new old stock) Welsbach mantle in the box. No dents or dings but please take a look at the pictures because it is 100 years old and I don't know very much about this type of lamp. I did fill the lamp with water for several hours to make sure it doesn't leak - it didn't and then dried it with a hair blower.

I've heard this is a common problem with the metal/ brass kettle lamps. The lamp is as found in very nice condition with normal wear and patina, shade shows wear on the glass from previous mantle etching from normal use. The lamp could use a good cleaning especially in the burner area where a lot of dust and old mantle bits have accumulated. I'm very happy to send additional pictures or a FaceTime.
