Rare 1939 B-61-O amber opalique Short Lincoln Drape. Some of the usual mold marks here and there but no chips or cracks. Not even a flea bite. Youll see color variation between most all glass Aladdin lamps but you really see it with the Opalique. Some of these are very cloudy, almost looking yellow.
This one has a nice rich amber with the opalescence primarily seen in the bowl when you have the lamp against a dark background or with direct light on it. You can see smoky swirls in the glass as seen in pics 2 and 3 as well as others.
I dont know how these were made but my assumption is that the factory mark in the glass as seen in the last two pictures is from the application/addition of the opalique treatment.
