Don't let the "plain" in this description turn you away, this is a very nice looking lamp with clean lines and gracefully presence. This lamp would work well in a 1930s-1940s themed Craftsman/Bungalow home, Farmhouse, Victorian/Romantic, or rustic cabin/dude ranch.

This lamp is an antique, please view the photos for any condition concerns. The patented mantle and burner system was, and is far superior to flat wick oil or kerosene lamps.

The lamps produce a steady, bright, white light without smoke or odor. The lamps also produce heat, along with light, making them ideal for non-electric situations: power outages, off-the-grid cabins and home, boats, emergency situations, or just ambience. The Model B burner produced the equivelent to a 100 watt light bulb, along with about 3500 BTUs of heat per hour, enough to heat a room.
