Aladdin was one of the pioneers to start modern sales techniques. They would allow customers to trade in their old oil lamps for new Aladdin lamps. They were also one of the first companies to use radio as an advertising medium. Overall lamp and chimney are in good condition. Chimney has no cracks or chips.

Burners are made of brass. Foot has "Crows Foot" pattern. No cracks or chips on bowl that we can see. We can see and feel lines on top and bottom of the foot but looks to be when glass was made, however we can not say for certain (Photo # 9, 17). Filler cap sits at an angle. We don't see or feel any cracks for the oil fill, however, we do see what looks like plaster on the inside edge. Very smooth to the touch (Photo #10). There is a large letter "A" on the underside of the foot (Photo #18). Wick riser knob moves up and down, but it's a tight turn. The portion with the wick riser that touches the bowl does not move and not sure if it's suppose to move. 24 tall, footing and chimney. 6" (W) and 6" (D).
