THIS IS AN ALADDIN TABLE LAMP, MODEL B-102, CORINTHIAN. It is green, with a complete Chicago Model B burner in nickel plate, a chimney, and a shade. This was the first Aladdin lamp to use an external metal connector between the bowl and the foot, and was only made in 1935 and'36. It has no chips, cracks, or breaks. There is rub-through on the thumb wheel, but little or none elsewhere. The chimney has a one-line logo, simply "ALADDIN, " which is a later style, but it fits perfectly. The shade: well, I don't know.

First, it has no chips, cracks, or breaks, though the bottom fitter has some mild roughness. Second, the exterior is satin and the interior is shiny, usually (I believe) considered a sign of an original one. Third, the pattern is what I think is an ancient Mid-Eastern "Aladdin" or slipper lamp. You will have to decide how old it is, and whether or not it is a genuine Aladdin shade or not. What I can tell you is that the lamp is an antique original, the burner is either original to the lamp or at least original to the style, and it looks really great!
