Original Aladdin 501 Shade, Good Condition, Ca. 1920s

An original Aladdin 501 shade. Aladdin Table Lamp 501-11 Shade. THIS IS AN ALADDIN TABLE LAMP 501 SHADE. I believe this is the Model 501-11, which was made for the Aladdin Model 11 lamp, which was also in production from 1922-28. It is just under 10 inches diameter, and was made for use with a 10 inch shade ring or tripod. According to the literature, since the mold lines are across the narrow part of the shade, it is an original one. I have the identical shade on my grandmother's Aladdin Model 11 lamp!

There are very small chips at both openings, consistent with use on a kerosene lamp. This is a very nice and desirable Aladdin lamp shade!
