As the story goes, Aladdin halted production of these lamps in 1941 just prior to the outbreak of WWII. Wartime regulations restricted using the metal that was required to make this colour.

Bottom line: they are rare - and almost NEVER found it this condition. Please note the "fine lines" between the "crows feet" on the underside that help authenticate this lamp.
