Offered is a rare and authentic Aladdin Model C Railroad Caboose Oil Lamp, a specialized lighting fixture manufactured by Aladdin Industries, Inc. These lamps were commonly used inside cabooses, depots, and other railroad work environments where dependable, bright illumination was essential. Unlike ordinary flat-wick kerosene lamps, this Aladdin utilizes the company's famous incandescent mantle burner system.

The circular wick produces a clean blue flame that heats a mantle to create an exceptionally bright white light-approximately 60 candlepower, several times brighter than a traditional wick lamp. One of the most desirable features of this example is that it remains remarkably complete, retaining its. Original Aladdin Model C burner. The large factory metal shade directs the light downward onto a work surface while helping reduce glare, making it ideal for conductor desks inside railroad cabooses.
