Wick mechanism appears to be in good working order and plenty of wick still remains. A new Lox-on Mantle will be needed.
Overall, lamp is in very good condition. There was some old kerosene and gunky residue on the bottom of the bowl. I cleaned the bowl with some basic soap and water and a bottle brush.
It cleaned up very nice but there is still some kerosene odor in the wick. I have another lamp just like it for sale also. They are almost a matching pair (last pic). The one for sale in this listing is the darker one on the right. The lamp on the left is a little lighter in color and the year on the bottom is 1981.Vintage items and items not marked'new' may exhibit some sort of wear.
