Vintage Aladdin Green Glass Washington Drape Round Base Oil Lampall Original

MOST OF THESE OLD ITEMS COME FROM ATTICS, BARNS, BASEMENTS ETC... AND HAVE LIVED THROUGH MANY GENERATIONS OF FAMILIES! IF SMOKE, PETS, MUSTY ODORS ETC. LIVING IN SOUTH LOUISIANA MY ENTIRE LIFE, I HAVE SINUS ISSUES AND NO SENSE OF SMELL!! This lamp is the Washington drape round base that was the first of a series of table lamps with this bowl pattern and was in production for a year, believed to be 1939. The lamp appears to be all original, including the fill cap, and the lox on chimney has the Aladdin name on it, in block letters. There is one chip that I see, on the base, you can see it in the last photo. There is no wick or mantle with the lamp.

The lamp needs to be cleaned, I just did a wipe down, but a good cleaning is needed. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Our home is smoke and pet free, but a lot of our items come from estate sales, and we don't know what the conditions were in the homes.

We also use recycled packing materials to keep the costs down, so the same applies to these materials.
