Vintage Large 23 1/2 Aladdin Oil Kerosene Lamp withLocking Chimney

This is an Aladdin oil lamp, it is large, measures 23 ½ to the top of the chimney. This piece has the original locking Aladdin chimney, there is a wick but I'm having trouble turning it up, I think it needs to be cut, the burnt part seems to be the issue. The glass lamp has a draped design and a fill opening with the cap. I don't see any chips or cracks, I didn't find any fleabites but I may have missed them and it could use a good cleaning.

The base has an "A" stamped in it, there is a curved line in the base, not a crack but a flaw done in the making, there is some cloudiness on the inside top of the bowl, may come off if burner is removed and cleaned. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Lamps, Lighting\Lamps".
